| Geez it's that time of year again. To commemorate 31 years of being alive can I self-indulgently ask for you to cheer me up and stop me feeling old ;-) |

You're 5 years younger than me... and you share your birthday with my grandfather, who would have turned 90 today. So... that should help you feel a little more spritey.

OLD? Try saying your 43. I'm 43 and my oldest son is 20 today. Now that makes me fill old....
...and there are a few here that so old they knew the Dead Sea when it was sick. I'm not calling any names :)

| I will be 56 in two months and I'm still alive. Heck, I don't even remember 31. I graduated from high school in 1971 and then spent 4 years in the Navy. It was another 3 years before you were even born. You're still a puppy. |

Some of us were around when they invented Dirt. It is hilarious to us that you could feel old at 31.

it's all relative, I'll be 40 in september.
31 is really the prime of your life, don't waste it worrying how old you are, get out and use that energy to go take some great pics! How about I give you some homework? go take a self portrait with some action in it. and then post it here, that would be cool! maybe put the camera on a tripod and timer and dunk a basketball or some such thing |

And Soul, I'd sing for you but I've promised the SPCA that I won't any more, sorry. Something about ruptured eardrums in local animals...?
Hitting 30 was a breeze, even 40 didn't bother me, but I wasn't too crazy about the half-century mark. But even that feels okay when I get letters from my 97-year-old uncle and hubby's aunt, who turns 101 in March.

Having just celebrated my 50th (yes Virginia that is a big number) I can sympathise with you a little.
However being philisophical for just a minute, if you have a problem with being 31 I'm not sure you're going to like the alternative!!

Try 41 with oldest @9 years.... Talk about feeling old..... I am ready for the wheel chair... and thinking how those motorized ones look like they might be fun... Maybe put a steel bar on the front for running into people :-) Cause it would have to have a tripod mount somewhere

26 years younger than me until July, then it's 27 years! But, you can become a GOG(Grumpy Old Git) in 4 years time. You don't qualify as a grumpy old man until you hit 35 :)) |
