I answered a post on Craiglist looking for photographers to do pictures of the crowd for the Globetrotters Gallery where they can purchase the pictures and merchandise. It was really a lot of fun!! If you are looking for new and different photography experiences, you might check this out on your area on Craigslist. You really can't have any inhibitions about approaching people and asking them to take their picture. If you can stand 4-5 hours of shooting for $60...go for it!!

That's $12 an hour. I know baristas that make more than that (nothing against baristas).

Sounds like a good deal for the venue. Maybe it's a pilot project and eventually they'll pay better money if things work out?

Sounds like a fun thing to do if you're not busy and money isn't important. The kind of thing I'd think about for shits & giggles. I'd want to make up some sort of "Event Photographer" shirt and pull people down near the benches to shoot them. They'd eat that up.

They do something similar with Steelers games. There are always a bunch of folks with yellow vests that shoot fans at the games, and those shots are posted somewhere that people can buy them. I'm sure the pay is similar to the Globetrotters stuff.
