If you're curious where your money goes, check out one of my other frequently visited sites, Where's George?, as well. On that site, you enter the denomination, series (year) and serial number of your money, and then write or stamp a message on the bills, directing the finder to enter the bill again on the site. If you register with the site BEFORE entering the bills, you find out where your money goes when someone enters it! I've entered close to 16,000 bills there. Of those, I've heard from about 2,500 so far, in 47 states, DC, Canada, Korea, Germany, the UK, Turkey, and a Navy ship in the Atlantic fleet.

Unlike this project though, WG prohibits marking bills and then redepositing them in the bank.
