Why should comments be restricted to photos? Would be nice to comment on the photographer, his/her style, profile, bio, goals, gear, philosophy, progress, absence (!), overall body of work, etc., etc., etc...

Just a thought.

I like the idea too. Especially if the announcement for this new feature included a link to my profile as an example.
