I'm going to start my first challenge: portraits!
Here are the rules:
- 1-3 people/shot as the subject (can be different people in each shot)
- Self portraits ok
- Try for one entry every day but do what you can - no pressure
- Try to comment on 5 entries above you minimum to keep things moving but not to make things too difficult. The commenting is one of the best parts of these challenges
- Any editing you like (including textures, multiple images, etc.) - This isn't a contest
- Pictures to be taken beginning 1/1 (or very close to it)
- Themes are welcome! For example: clowns, skiers, kids, drama, self, candids, street, etc. just let us know!
- C&C is the method here. If you are commenting, be constructive and not personal. If you are the photographer, be able to accept a critique for what it is and not take it personally.

Are there any rules? has to be taken after opening the challenge? advanced editing allowed? textures? How many entries?

| Portraits are not something I have ventured into yet and so far I love side challenges - please count me in. Maybe I will even do a self portrait to put on my profile page! |

| Some of my favorite portrait players are here!! I wanna play too! Just don't get upset if I don't make it all 30 days ok? LOL!! I start back to school Jan 15th but will do what I can when I can :) |

I have at least one portrait shoot lined up, and as payment I'll demand more portraits, lol!
Oh, and I'm getting a NEW LENS very soon (85mm f/1.8) which will definitely be motivation enough.

Any more room? If so, I'm in. I just became a member, so I can finally have a portfolio :).
One question - by 1-3 subjects, you mean 3 per image, right? I don't think I'd enjoy taking 31 portraits of the same three people...

Humbug!! That special day come once a year is over, so on to passing away the time till next December 25th.
I therefore would like to be included as well! Ill be shooting kids, self, & anyone else I can get my hands on! |

I wouldn't complain too much, you got some good equipment for portraits. Just consider it 360 days to practice... |
