Could you please add functionality to allow us to edit the Photographer's Comments for a current entry, please?

It is 11:18pm, I've been falling asleep for hours now, but I feel compelled to thank all those who have commented on my entry. I believe after the challenge is when most will view the entries and there is no way to notify all those people. Sometimes a checkbox is not enough! Damn it, I want to thank these folks properly and promptly. It should be editable, make it editable! If you won't do it for everyone, at least do it for me, as a favor. I think I've earned one, earned something, or another, but at least earned you hearing me out, so do it, make it happen!

It is good idea, everyone will be happy, it will increase love lots and will be like giving gift of kittens, everyone loves kittens so soft and warm. So please, please, please, add kittens no no no, not kittens, editable photography comments, yes! to DPC!

Thank you!
me

I thought they already did that.

...I suspect you are really asking for more space to type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type and type.

:) just razzin ya, tog. I do believe there is some trick to adding notes to an entry during voting but I don't know what it is.

You can. Just go to the image through your portfolio, and you can add to the comments there.

They can't read it until after the voting is over anyway ...

It is editable.

just go edit it in your portfolio like you would any other image.
Manage your portfolio and then click the photo, add comments.

ETA: You can't change the comments that are there until after the challenge.

That is point!!!!!!!!!! You cannot do anything until aftering voting, so I have to wait up now for midnight so I can edit stuff. This is unfair, I want it different!!!

And Art, I knows all abouts it but it can only be done once and your Photographer's Comments has to be blank when you submit, if it is not it does not work.

Please add fairness to dpc! So I can like edit stuff before the challenge is over. No one can read it until after so it isn't cheating, don't call it cheating. Just the little box thingy over there where people write their how-tos and thanks and post bloopers or stuff I want to edit that before midnight, maybe even during the week earlier, you know, when it comes up, cause what if I can't be awake or here at midnight, lots of people cannot be, they can all use this feature, options are always good, please add options to dpc!

"Since this entry is in voting, you may only make additions:"

is what you'll find (in outstandingly beautiful red ink) when you go to your Portfolio and click on your picture. This ability was introduced a couple of months ago so that you can add things to your photographer's comments during the voting period.

Try it.

Pug-H beat me to it while I was testing to see if you could do it once or multiple times.

You can do it multiple times.

So, you cannot "edit" your initial comments, but if you are wanting to reply to people leaving comments, you can go to "My Home" ----> "My Portfolio" find the shot and then add whatever you want. It will even time stamp it.

The whole blank thing and only doing it once has changed. That is no longer a "bug." Langdon made it a feature several weeks ago.

Thank you thank you so much! That is what I thought but there is a bug in how I was doing it. If you go to your profile and pick the image from your entries, there is no option to edit anything. You have to go to portfolio first, then pick the entry.

DPC SC's BUG ALERT, see above.

Thanks everyone, you are all great, epsecially you Pug! I'm so happy!

You can add comments and thank people, so its not that you can't do anything. Did you not find where to do that, or is that you want to change what you already have written?
