Sigh... it's snowing... I'm never going to hear the end of it, I just know it.. :P

Hey, we're maybe going to get a dusting of snow on some of our Bay Area mountaintops tonight, and we're quite a few degrees of latitude south of you (although north of New Orleans). Just try to get some nice pictures -- people who live in warm areas love to see pictures of snow around this time of year!

74 here today!

All the Christmas decorations fell down due to desert winds, so there really was flying reindeer's and Santa's today!

Probably not the type of snow photo you wanted, but it's all I have for now. *sigh*

Anybody wants snow, they can come on over and get some of the 20" that's piled up in my yard over the past two weeks :-P

Around 100km/h. Too fast for the conditions, I admit, but the patch I hit I think would have taken me out at anything over 50km/h anyway. Damage just wouldn't have been as bad.

It's the Coquihalla, just south of the Snow Shed, 30kms north of Hope. 5 minutes drive away from the end of the storm and safety.

100k on snow?

I don't do that with my 4x4 equipped with studded tires. Hope nobody got hurt.

BeeCee, maybe it's the other way around and it's us laughing at your wet and humid weather, all year round. :)

Yeah, Sheila, and over here this big shiny thing that gives off heat appears in the sky...we call it the sun...you guys call it a rare occurrence!

And hey the final nail in the coffin for me was the winter of 1998/1999 when I was in Vancouver...SIX WEEKS OF RAIN...not a speck of sun or warmth all that time. Horrible.

Actually we only have about 4 inches on the ground right now, not so bad.

Who said snow was a bad thing? You're such a bunch 'o party poopers! :)

I just LOVE the snow - and our kids couldn't be without it! Our ski center opened almost a month ago and I have been using my season pass quite a few times already - aaaahhh - happy days! :D

We'll see about that. It would be a bummer if we had "engine trouble," or something :)
