Can't really recall or put my finger on the name for this style of art.

Absinthe ad (very mildly NSFW)

Check out the works of Alfons (Alphonse) Mucha

Couple pictures I took last year of a cosplayer dressed as a real life Mucha painting figure:

Not anymore. It's being imported, with strict controls. Very expensive.

R.

And yup, it's art nouveau...

You can buy "Mansinthe" which is is Marilyn Manson's self branded version.

There's another brand too, but I can't remember the name. I think they're both about $50 for 750ml.

Looks like a Maxfield Parrish poster. Or someone copied his style. The logo in the lower left corner might be a clue.

Random: I had absinthe in Japan in 1982. Woke up with blood on my face, fat lip, bruises. Found out later that it was actually the mechanical bull that did the damage. So I believe absinthe (by itself) is safe. ;-)

I have a similar story involving Tequila, Tijuauna and Mexican Jail...

I never did find my other shoe.

Art Nouveau for sure.

Had Absinthe in The Czech Rep. With flambeed sugar stirred in. Tasty.

eta: Hector Guimard designed the entrances to many of the Paris Metro Stations in an Art Nouveau style. If you look at the picture in the wiki link you'll see similar lettering.

I had it in iceland after quite a couple of beers. I didn't realize i had to blow out the blue flame BEFORE drinking the shit, so i ended up with a burned nose (which i realized not until the next morning...)

I think the poster is a piece of Jugendstil, at least that's what it's called in the german speaking/europaean area (where it actually came from)...

eta: just realized that art nouveau is pretty much the translation for Jugendstil, so nevermind...;)

The Magazine, Photoshop Creative, issue 28, had a 6 page tutorial on how to do this from a photo.
(Wonder if I can find a linky)

Aubrey Beardsley, is undoubtedly one of my favorites from this 19th century timeline.
Even though this is a pen & ink, Beardsley's The Fat Woman is also from the same genre & absinthe related subject.
