Anyone who has commented on every image in the Posthumous Masters can award ribbons here. I'll start with mine.

First off, let me say that this challenge was quite simply breathtaking for me. The assemblage of talent here is amazing. Most of these shots could easily have gotten a Posthumous Ribbon in a normal challenge. Frankly, it makes me wonder why we have normal challenges. :)

The blue and red I chose simply because they are miracles, an incredible combination of candid sincerity and esthetic perfection. The yellow was in no sense an accident. It was carefully created, and I chose it because of just how much of a response it inspired from me. These ribbons are subjective, after all.

I cannot thank enough all the people who have participated in this challenge, be it through photos or comments or both. I was really blown away, and feel utterly inadequate giving away only three ribbons. In fact, why should I? Every one who submitted a photo to this challenge (even Bernard Marx and pointandshoot) can post one of these in his/her profile:

And now my Master Ribbons:

to by goodman
to by yanko
to by RKT

Disclaimer: pointandshoot may or may not have had the best picture, but there's no way in Hell I'm giving him another ribbon if I can help it.

To the goodman photo, all I can say is "WOW!"

That photo is striking on so many levels, it could have been taken in 1860, 1960, or 2008... That is simply magical. Congrats

Dang it! I was hoping to be able to claim a ribbon here and then watch my time at DPC fade into the sunset. Alas - one goal I will never attain.

Congrats to all!

No brown for this challenge? *Shucks* A brown in the Posthumous challenge would be bragging rights for sure.

Congrats to the winners!

Looks like we were on the same wavelength, here.

This has turned into a bad day. First, I find out that I DIDN'T have an image stolen and now this. I had very high hopes too...and tomorrows Monday.

Thanks for running the Challenge and congrats to the deserved winners.

Note to self: don't submit the only colorful, macro entry to a posthumous challenge again, LOL. Seriously, some wonderful images. I'd have given Lesley's shot first prize myself, just a hell of an image.

Thanks, Don, for doing this...

A big thanks to Posthumous for organising this, and congratulations to the winners. It was fun, and I haven't got around to commenting on all images..yet, but I've certainly enjoyed looking at all the entries, and congratulate everyone on their creativity.

Don's commentary and interpretations have been extraordinary! The anticipation in this challenge was two-fold... The excitement of viewing the images as well as reading his narratives of them. He has a way of making them breathe. If someone has a unique ribbon of some sorts, please give it to the man. To add to this, there was also a lot of great commentary by others too!

"...this is yanko in drag. What a sight!"

Is there something you wish to tell us. It's ok. Really!

You're amongst friends, here.

eta: And what a grand way to come out, too. With a Posthumous Red Ribbon in your hair.
