| I had my ISO setting too high and the picture is really grainy, is there a good way to fix this? |

| No...... Try noise reduction Noise Ninja or Noiseware or whatever. Could convert to B&W. |

Change your ISO setting to something less high??????? Sorry, couldn't resist
Robs advice works. Also, depending what you are doing with the photo (ie submitting here or blowing up poster size) can also affect the level of visable noise. Hit it with Noise Ninja and resize to the size you want to see the final outcome

If you got Capture NX with your D300, there is a feature in that as well, if you don't want to pay for a photoshop plugin (assuming you use PS). Capture's noise control is a bit heavy handed to details from my experience.
Oh yeah, you can also control how much the camera applies auto high iso noise reduction (though, again, this is somewhat heavy handed and should be tested before you leave it in a certain setting so you know what you can expect) pg 263 of your manual.

you could just resize the picture if its for computer viewing.
otherwise, use a digital noise-removal software like they others suggested |
