I saw this photo at shutterstock today

shutterstock

and thought it was a pretty cool twist on just a typical bokeh.

So is are the starbursts clip-art? I've been so focused on submitting photos that I didn't realize sites were taking shots that have been jazzed up like this. It opens my eyes up a bit more.

I want to find tutorials on this. What words should I use in a search?

edit to say: ok so I figured out that it is a plug-in...

Hi Michelle, What was the plugin if you don't mind me asking?

I don't know what plug-in it is but I did a search on some other sites and found that people use plug-ins (like the flood filter) and put those in an image and put it in stock. I guess I thought photos had to be purely a picture - never thought about taking editing that far. Gonna try it now tho to see what happens :)
