I'm doing a demo for my students and I need some good examples of frozen motion with fast shutter speeds. Please post photos that you don't mind me showing to a group of high schoolers.

Thanks!

If this can help, frozen at 1/1600s

Good examples so far... and thanks!....

Also, keep in mind we shoot w/ 400 ISO film without flashes, so studio frozen motion is tougher to do (however, if the shot is really good, post anyways...)

You're welcome to show this image if it fits in with your schedule.

ETA: I know there is blur in the shot but I figured you could instruct on panning technique on any street corner :)

I may bank this for panning... I'm going to do one blur technique at a time... first frozen motion, then I may do tripod shots--frozen background/blurred subject, then panned action... panning is pretty tough w/ film because you can't see results quickly and we don't have any DSLRs yet...

These might appeal to high schoolers.

Unfortunately due to my work in a retail setting and not getting near as much money as I need I no longer have a manageable account here but here are a couple. (If anyone knows how to do a thumbnail preview from another webhost, just yell at me and I will change it)

All taken at 1/1250s

Not sure this qualifies?

here's a stopped motion pic, but with a long exposure. the trick is to have a short duration flash pulse.

And here's one at 1/1000th second

Here is a movie that I used about 40 high-speed captures to create.
