Release from Active Duty

You get a Form DD214 when you separate from the military.

Honorable Discharge

-- Just throwing some out there.

Death?

Dishonorable discharge.

Retired?

Leave of absence.

AWOL? Absent without official leave.

Deserter.

Released.

Dismiss!

R.I.P.

kidding. I heard the "booooo"s - just surprised I was the first to post that. :P

EAOS (taterbug's answer) is the correct answer when I was in the Navy. Short timer was also the term used for someone getting close to their EAOS.

10/09/2008 07:06:05 AM · #24
