Anyone use them, I know some do here. I submitted 8 images today at about 11 this morning and they were accepted about 30 minutes ago. Woah that was fast.

Anyone sell anything through them?

I also got accepted at Fotolia and now am preparing to submit to Shutterstock and istock. Don't know why i'm nervous about sending them my images. lol

I figure istock and Shutterstock will take a little longer to review my images. Dreamstime took 8 days for 7 images last week.

I'll be interested to hear about how you do with submissions to Fotolia. I've been on there for about two years, when I first got accepted they took everything I sent- well, a few exceptions- but now, they are taking less than 10% of what I submit. And usually the reason is "too full of catagory."

Shutterstock is the easiest, I havent had much luck with the others. I dont even bother with fotolia or istock, it takes too long and they reject most of them. Stockxpert, 123rf, and Dreamstime have gotten me some money but no where near the amount of shutterstock.

Edit: oh and I have not tried Cutcaster yet.

I have a port at Cutcaster and had so far one sale. They are still very new. John and his team do a really good job listening to the contributor and is fast with fixing any problems.

The review time at iStock is about 4-7 days. Shutterstock review time is in the moment 1-3 days. Don't be discouraged if Shutterstock does not accept you the first time. Once you are in they most likely will be your best earner.

Sales are still very slow there, but they have an enthusiastic staff so hopefully they will pick up!

Yeah I noticed that reading their forums. Hope it does pick up b/c I like the pricing. If they become big they might just change how others do business.

yeah we are growing and just about to pass 100k files which is very exciting and moving fast. I hope some of you will contribute and help support our new idea and way of doing business. I am open to any suggestions for how we can make the site more user friendly or help you get more sales.

I uploaded some shots yesterday. Within 12 hours, 6 were reviewed and approved. I'm impressed with the speed. Good job!

I wanted to bump up this thread because the last reply was old. Any more recent feedback on Cutcaster?

I had a very good month of January with Cutcaster ( //www.cutcaster.com/studio/pub/692026169 ) The came in with two EL's and a couple of DL's. It was a very nice surprise. It was a good start for 2010, hope it will continue like this for the rest of the year!

Hey guys,

I am planning to upload my collection of vectors to Cutcaster...

But they want vectors with a jpeg and a eps together in a .zip file.

Since I have around 1000 files. Is there any zip program that will automate zipping these files?

The jpeg & eps have the same file name... but it's going to take me forever to zip one by one.

Any ideas?

-A.
