| I haven't done model released shoot yet so I am pretty new to this. I have a few questions. Do you always have a witness around while you are shooting? That kinda sounds a very difficult proposition. Who do you then use as a witness? Also does the model need to affix her ID or her photo on the release? Can any one of the photos from the photoshoot serve as that picture? Does the photographer need to have his id/picture on the release? Do you use some kind of an universal release. Is there any thing else which is tricky and I should be keeping in mind regarding model releases? |

.. Yes, when the model is signing the release.
Also does the model need to affix her ID or her photo on the release?
.. Try to get a copy of the models ID. You only need prove of age for nude images.

.. Yes
Does the photographer need to have his id/picture on the release?
.. No
Do you use some kind of an universal release?
.. Yes. Download a release that you like for on of the agencies and change it to be generic.

just make sure the universal release you use has all the necessary contact information.
I have never done nude stock photography, but for regular shots, I haven't ever had to have a copy of any ID.
