Once I turned that nauseating song down it is actually very sweet.

I love the irony of calling a Lion `Christian`

One of your better posts.. ho ho ho..

Here at work, there were two women watching with me. So I had to hold in the tears to maintain my manly, studly reputation. :)

Man, that full octive jump at the beginning of that song is no easy feat. And she did it twice!

One of the guys that raised Christian was on NBC's the Today Show last week...here's the link to his story:

Today Show

The whole thing is very touching...

Another story that touches the heartstrings...about the murdered turtle in Hawaii:

OMG fantastic voice! I'm sure he'll be a stunning success with that kind of vocal control.

I expected that to end VERY differently. You disappoint me, Cindi. :/

edit: heehee - just kidding (about being disappointed, I mean. I actually did expect it to end in tragedy) - I was touched though.

And just to make sure this was real...
There's even more amazing parts to the story in that link, as well as a different kind of tragic ending than expected. :(

You wanted the lion to eat them, didn't you~?!?!?! Shame on you, Ken. :D

I got the lion video via email - apparently it aired on The View (don't know when).

Since this story is from the 70's, I wonder why it's making such a splash right now. Any clues?
