Look underneath my name. :D Water resistant, lens too. :D But that's not what you want to hear.

Here's a link with an idea for doing it

Here's another contraption

And yet another to B&H's list of camera protector bags

If you are talking just spray or rain, why not a ziplock bag or plastic shopping bag (used many, many times with my D70). If you are talking getting IN water you need a special case.
Or you could do THIS!

One easy way to protect your camera from water is to never let DrAchoo near it. ;)

While in Fiji, I went up the river in a Motorised Canoe for over an hour. We had to go through rapids so we were drenched by the time we got there. But I had my camera out the whole time with a 70-200mm lens on. I had one shopping bag over it and even when waves of water splashed up over us....it stayed dry the entire time. I did try to protect it when I can foresee the waves....but I didn't predict them all. Best investment I made...lol!

I swear that bucket of water fell out of the cloudless sky right on top of your camera! I didn't do anything!

My latest trick is a dry bag for transportation. Here's a picture where you can see the bag. I had it clipped to a rope which was tied to my wrist as I swam against the current of the river I had to swim to get to the shot at Punchbowl. The first pic is the setup (you can see the dry bag at the bottom). The second is the bottle neck I had to swim (actually I just grabbed the sides and pulled myself along because the water was really moving).

When we were in Florida for vacation I took some plastic garbage bags to the theme parks, just in case. I had them out a few times and they did work, although I wouldn't trust 'em for more than a sprinkle.

One thing I did was add camera insurance to my homeowners policy. The cost was a bit above 1% and everything that has value and is camera related is insured. This includes cameras, lenses, filters, etc. If anything at all happens they will repair or replace.
