I was hired to shoot for Extreme Makeover Home Edition, today was my first day on the set, and today was the "DEMO DAY"!
I fired away 1000+ shots and got quite a few really good ones. I had to sign a confidentiality agreement so I don't think I can post them for a while.
But I gotta say, seeing the hundreds of volunteers, in their blue shirts, white hard hats, and Ty leading them while everyone is cheering followed by a line of bull dozers, really sends chills up your spine.
Then watching the house get torn down right in front of you was fantastic. I wish I could share the photos. |

Wow...how fun would THAT be? And you're getting paid for it? Some people have all the luck :)
Can't wait to see some of your shots. Are you allowed to take shots of the hosts / designers / etc. for your own use (not selling, but just sharing here or whatever?) |

Oh wow!!!
While you are there, put in a good word for the Mize Family of Dayton LOL
I just sent in their application (nominated by me) crossing my fingers for them... they are such good people :)
Anyway, back to you!!

| I like that show, but I think they go overboard. I mean, it's one thing to improve somebody's situation when they're down and out, but it's another to build them a McMansion. I also wonder how those people handle the tax aspect of that kind of windfall. |
