Muslim Albanians burning Christian churches and homes while NATO/KFOR watching powerless to stop them!
Kosovo

Someone was acusing Serbs of etnic cleansing (Clinton),(CNN) before?
The real victims are the Serbs who are completelly cleansed from their homeland!

It's is truly amazing how popular genocide is among fundamentalists of every persuasion.

Yep Pitsaman, but hey, you can't question "the religon of piece" can you? Same thing will happen in every country that lets these radical Muslims in. Just look at Spain, France, the USA, Britain, Austrailia, New Zeland, etc. Muslim (fundementalists) are like a virus iffecting the whole world. Before you know it, your culture will be gone and a mosque of hatrid towards Christains will replace it on every street corner. :)

I keep wondering why those people can't live together in peace. I live in the north west of Romania verry close to where all these are happening, my city is half romanians half hungarians. We have never had any problem, I have lots of hungarian friends, most of us speak theyr language perfectly most of them speak ours. Our cultural differencess only makes us stronger, we keep learning from eachother alot. I'm sure for you people living in america or such placess where 100's of cultures live together in harmony is even harder to understand. I think those people are or were manipulated in this way, normaly people learn to live together regardless of theyr ethnical origins. I seen on the news a guy saying "albanians should go to albania." What kind of moronish thing is that to say in 2004?

It's also monumentaly stupid to want authonomy of a small area like that these days when borders between european countries are slowly disapearing.

I find it interesting that 'fundamentalism' was born in the U.S.A., yet it only seems to be used these days in association with Islam etc

Here are some dictionary definitions

A usually religious movement or point of view characterized by a return to fundamental principles, by rigid adherence to those principles, and often by intolerance of other views and opposition to secularism.

Fundamentalism An organized, militant Evangelical movement originating in the United States in the late 19th and early 20th century in opposition to Protestant Liberalism and secularism, insisting on the inerrancy of Scripture.

How do you differentiate between the radical Muslims and the non-radical Muslims exactly? Should we worry about radical Zionists, Christians, and atheists alike? Look no closer than home for Christian terrorist kooks.

Maybe they're just trying to make disciples of all nations. Of course, there were the Crusades and the Conquest (of America). Also, the missionary work in Africa designed to subvert local tribal beliefs. Even now, it seems some Christian groups can't offer a piece of bread without buttering it.

As opposed to a Christian edifice of love in Baghdad? How exactly will the building of a mosque on every street corner make your culture disappear?

Give pluralism a chance.

If you want to fight play hockey! We all need to be more excepting of different cultures! Experiencing how people from other cultures live only makes us stronger and better.

As a Canadian I am deeply offended that you're singling out my culture as nothing more than a vehicle of violence.

Jimmy,

Don't get too defensive now. I think hockey is a great game but you gotta admit, if you are prone to commit assault and battery, hockey is the place to do it and not go to jail.

By the way, I live in Port Angeles. I'll get my long lens out and see if I can snap your picture.

Actually, it is not.

I would like to see one account of modern Christians or Jews committing Genocide. Hitler was not a Christian. He did not like religion at all. He was basically of the communist mindset.

Well, there are plenty of accounts of modern Christians committing genocide, but if you are just going to use the "No True Scottsman" fallacy, then there's really no point in debating. This isn't really the place for that, anyway. :-)

Hitler a communist? Umm...yeah that's a good one. He was a fascist, which is basically the polar opposite of communism on the political spectrum.

Is this a rant to attack Muslims? Oh, fundamentalist Muslims. Hmmm...
There are fundamentalists everywhere whether they are Muslims, Christians, whatever. Hey, the US has a fundamentalist in the White House right now. Shall we condemn all Christians for the act of one or few? Not that I am implicitly saying that anyone posting to this thread has claimed this, but let's be careful here as these types of discussions conducted carelessly, can easily offend people. Innocent people who believe in the pacificist tenants of Islam or whatever religion they prescribe to.
It's all good to express your frustrations with terror and cowardice for acts such as these but let's be careful in labelling all Muslims as fundamentalists. A true Muslim believes in peace, mercy & forgiveness. Not burning down churches or flying planes into buildings or anything remotely related to terrorism.
There are good people & bad people in this great big world of ours. What religion each person is has little to do with it all.

2. fas·cist (plural fas·cists) or Fas·cist supporter of fascism: somebody who supports or advocates a system of government characterized by dictatorship, centralized control of private enterprise, repression of all opposition, and extreme nationalism

Hmmm, sounds just like the USSR, China, Cuba, and North Korea to me.

1. Com·mu·nism: any system of government in which a single, usually totalitarian, party holds power, and the state controls the economy
