Hey...drove the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway today. 24 miles at 60 mph....= 24 minutes.

I squashed it down to 48 seconds. 1/2 per second.

Check it out !

Edit:

Here is another....yardwork 4 hours to about 2 minutes.

Here it is.

Kenny

Cool deal. I love the ones that make you feel like you're moving with them. Great job

The true limit is 65mph but in the video I'm going about 1800 miles per hour if my math is right !

The speed limit is 65mph on the bridge ....it is a straight run with about 12 "crossovers". Policemen sit at the cross overs for emergencys and speeders. I see at least one bozo getting pulled over each time I cross the bridge.

If you speed on the bridge, at least have the brains to slow down when approaching the crossovers !!! hahahah

That was really cool.
I have driven that route a few times. I hated it every time.
I just could never feel comfortable, I don't really know why.

Cool, that's a long causeway!!

Sorry ! Crossovers are places that you can pull over or even go to the other bridge to get back to where you came from without going the entire way across.

There are two spans each...each "oneway" traffic. Crossovers link the two bridges every three miles or so.

That's neat.

What kind of camera did you use and how many frames per minute do you set it for?

Hello,

I used the Oregon Scientific Video camera. Waterproof to 10 feet. Some of the vid you see is at 30fps...and some at 15fps... The quality is not as good as if I would use time lapse on a still cam but the vid came out ok.

I figured about 1/2 way through that if I was going to speed it up, I could use the 15fps with similar results.

I bought the camera from Newegg.com.

See cam specs here.
