I see people list 600 pics here,100 there 50 at Dreamstime etc etc..

Maybe im not getting this right, but shouldnt you put the same pics everywhere to get
the most efficient results?

If you have a pic that sells and sells, shouldnt it be everywhere ?

Theres still a lot i dont know at this,i keep reading forums and stock tutorials...

Well sometimes different sites accept different images which creates various amounts on different sites. A few people have the strategy of uploading different types of images to different sites depending on what sells. Some people don't have time to upload everything to all the sites. 90% of people upload everything they have to at least the big6 + a few more.

What leaf said. My strategy is, if a picture neither gets accepted at iStockphoto nor at Shutterstock, I submit it as an exclusive image at Fotolia or at dreamstime so it will bring higher earnings per sale.

oh thats true forgot about that
pics get rejected sometimes.Hence the different numbers

I guess if you stay with only microstock, its ok to submit all the same pics everywhere
like melking does

So leaf,do you go through a process of reading about what sells more lets say at Istock or 123rf ?
and based on that you submit certain pics ?

no, i submit everything everywhere. I think it is a bad strategy to upload only certain shots to certain sites.

To maximize an images potential you should give it the biggest audience.
