Having never submitted any of my photos to any website but DPC, I decided last week to enter two of my pictures to Kodak's Picture Of The Day. Using the scores of my pics here on DPC as a guide, I decided to submit my two highest-ranked images.
Well I just found out that both pictures have been selected for Kodak POTD and will be displayed on Kodak's home page and on their billboard in Times Square.
"Synergistic Snowflakes" will appear on March 23rd
"Two Outs, Bottom of the Ninth" will appear on April 4th (the POTD editor said "a real home-run for the start of the baseball season :->")
I'm pretty excited! Anybody work in NYC who could snap a picture of my picture on the electronic billboard? |

hmmm...I might be in the city on the 23rd.
I probably won't be up that way, but if I do, I will look.
Congrats...I love both those pics!
BTW, I have yet to submit to that, can you give me the link?
What s the deal with it, they contact you if they choose it?

The site is //pictureoftheday.kodak.com
And yes, after you submit, they contact you via email if they select your picture and tell you what day it will be "on display". |

Maybe you can find/post the links to the webcams which cover that sign. |

Congrats to you man !!
In fact even one of my pictures is coming up on 27th March I am not sure how big this is considered in the photography circles. All I know is I am very happy and excited..
