I am looking for a good digital lab to print my work. I need a good balance between; quality, price and turn around. Does anyone have any suggestions? Keep in mind I do not have tons of $$$$.

never tried it but I think Walgreens and CVS will print off stick or card, pretty cheap but I don't know how good the quality is

So far my best experience is with www.bayphoto.com. Price is great, free shipping on orders over $12, packaging is practically bomb proof and turn around time is fast.

I didn't have great experience with mpix and I find their ordering system to be a hassle and not very user friendly.

Stay clear of all the 1 hr labs... ritz, costco, pharmacies etc... Their results are not consistant and sometimes just plain aweful.

I always use bayphoto w/ no color correction.

www.profilmet.com has the cheapest 8x10s around, all their other sizes are comparable to everyone else.

I have had great luck with MPix and Shutterfly (for larger prints) and I usually get them in the mail within 2 days. I've used Snapfish a lot for 4x6" and have always gotten good results as well, and they're very inexpensive.

I've had very consistent results and good service at the Costco near me -- they do a huge volume, and you can download printer profiles to use if you run any color management system. Order online, pick up in 1-4 hours; 8x10 is $1.49 ...

Of course, DPC Prints has great quality, if you want to do mail-order ... ;-)
