I've only viewed 1,669....i'm still wet behind the ears I guess....and i've been here for 3 yrs.

Total Image Views: 63,727 <<--I would guess this means what I've looked at.
Total Images Viewed: 4,026 <<--and this would mean what others have looked at

I'm fairly certain that people don't vote without viewing. So the numbers don't match up. If it is only the count since the feature was implemented, what use is it? Or does it mean something else?

I'm pretty sure Total Image Views are what others are looking at your photos and viewed is you looking at theirs. Hell I dont know, lol.

Well, I could be wrong. But the OP's "Viewed" count went up by one right after I peaked at his ribbon winner.
Either way, I know I don't vote without viewing and I've cast nearly 30K votes...so 4K doesn't sync. (And I mostly vote these days, not post for viewing.)

EDIT: total images viewed is what photos you look at. I just went and looked at 5 photos and that count went up while the other stayed the same.

I also think it is portfolio images not challenge.

Ones that are in voting do not count toward images viewed. Also realize that the total images view has been recently added to the site and started from zero, (they didnt go back and count before they added the feature) So that is always normally lower as they have always counted image views.

Actually just hold ALT and then type 0222 on the number pad. Holding 0 is doing nothing for you.

Wow... My pictures have been looked at 324,000 times... kind of staggering when you think about it. That's +/- 7700 views a month since I joined. That's +/- 257 views a day... 10 views an hour... Once every six minutes somebody looked at a picture of mine... And I'm sure I'm nowhere near the leader in that stat...

But boy, howdy: that's just staggering. Multiply it by all the photographers on this site and that's one HECK of a lot of image viewing going on...

Getting ribbons and top 10s really helps for you guys. Not to mention the 3-year headstart from when you joined DPC!

People have only viewed my images 7,460 times! I don't have a big enough draw to my name yet...(hoping to oneself that it will come sometime.)
