Picked up my new 14Mp Pentax K20D on Tuesday and here at DPC, am listed as the only current owner of this camera.
Hopefully I can enter a few challenges this year and put a couple of decent images under the K20D profile.

Congrats, from the reviews I've seen its a sweet camera.
Plotting... flight to Melbourne.....track down sir_bazz.....mugging.... NEW CAMERA for vxpra. :)
Wait!!! The @&*%$@@@ plane ticket to Melbourne is more than the camera.

Yeah its an amazing bit of kit.
All the best features of the K10D plus what I'd consider the best performing APS-C sensor on the market. Haven't played with any of the new features yet but hope to get more familiar with them over the weekend. Already on the list for testing are the inbuilt flash controller, inbuilt intervalometer, the cropped 21fps shooting mode, and the extended dynamic range setting.
I'll be looking for any unfair advantage I can get for future challenges :)

Hey bazz, when we gonna get to see some pics from your new toy?
I'm about to sell my old film LX to raise some cash to help me pull the trigger on a k20d too. I'm torn between doing it now, or waiting 6 months to see if the price drops or pentax announces a new round of rebates. If I was rational I'd do the latter, but I'm not when it comes to equipment, so expect the former. |

Congratulations on the new addition :P
I can't afford the K20d yet, but since my *ist Ds died recently I ordered/received my 2nd K10d last week to replace it :)
