In your previous ticket we stated that we would review your case and that your suspension may be lengthened after that review. It is with regret that we must inform you that effective immediately, your suspension has been adjusted to a complete site ban for a period of 6 months, due to your numerous infractions of the site's rules and policies, and your conduct as a whole. These infractions include, but aren't limited to:

October 9, 2007 First forum storm about Delete comment button. In response to an inflammatory comment by Troy Mosely, you left a retaliatory comment (You have since deleted the image), started Rant thread about hating Troy Mosely (//www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREA
D_ID=686218&page=1#4150669), when that was hidden, you started another Rant thread the next day personally attacking Troy (//www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREA
D_ID=687512&page=1#4155528), when that was hidden as well you started a third thread personally attacking Troy (//www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREA
D_ID=687516) which was locked instead of hidden because it contained a public warning. You then sent in a ticket apologizing to us, but it didn't last long because less than a half hour later you were attacking Troy in the forums again (//www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREA
D_ID=687530). It's worth noting here that your temper tantrum and personal attacks against Troy were made even though Troy's "bad comment" was hidden in a timely manner. These attacks included references to Troy's sexual behavior.

Upon your return to the site in 6 months time, should you choose to do so, we will expect that there will be no additional incidents of any kind, at any time. Should any such occur, your membership will be terminated permanently, without warning.

OK, some of his infractions may be lamentable, but we're not allowed to even make sexually suggestive jokes in the forums? Jeez. Are these reasons for suspending his account, or is it a moral inventory? If you're trying to prove that Leroy's a perve, we already know that!

| I don't see how all of these are infractions, although most seem to be. Example: "October 11, 2007 You refused to have portfolio images unless a Delete Comment button was put in place." Sounds like whining to me, not a violation. |

Exactly. I'm not saying there aren't infractions in there - but most of them don't seem to violate and site rules.
Seems to me like they have decided to try and place the straw to break the camels back. After this I'm sure the SC believes they will not hear from him again, and they are probably right. |

Well SC has to make a case to justify what they did. This particular line did put smile on my face. Few others were about you started a thread about how difficult it is to buy vibrators. LOL.

it's probably not that a single item violates the TOS in and of itself; it's more likely the sum total of a pattern of disruptive and offensive behaviors.
i think it's a mistake to try to turn this into soley an 'SC vs Leroy' thing and make the SC out to be some evil overlord. i would find it much more likely that even though the SC has been made the target here, that there are many, many more less vocal members that have been backing up the SC in their decisions... |

Incidentally, I think a good portion of what Leroy got in trouble for wouldn't have been an issue if he hadn't been so abrasive before. We all enjoy a bit of leeway for a bit of 'naughtiness' now and again, but I think the sensitivity was just ramped up on him because of multiple past infractions.
I'm far from being a prude, but I was quite uncomfortable about the repeated GKG repertoire. Just because it was O ver DONE.
It is noteworthy that American society is very sensitive to sexually oriented content. Sexual predators or those who are suspected of sexual misconduct are often placed on probation where they aren't even allowed to be near minors. That's not even close to a crime for regular folk.
Not that leroy is a sexual predator, but once you cross the line a certain number of times, it takes a lot less to set off the alarm bells later. Even more so if on those earlier occasions there was conversation between SC/Langdon and Leroy that we are not privy to that specifically restricted certain types of actions.
That's just consequence.
ETA, I am glad that JamieLynn did take the time to pass on the information in the first post though. I think there will be a few that will commisserate with Leroy, but I think in general it enlightens the general public as to how the SC had been acting towards him and displays in just one place the extent to which Leroy really had gone...

as you like it, you sound every bit of your 21 years, i remember what it was like. at any rate this point has been driven into the ground but nobody has to stay here. if so many different aspects of the rules irritate someone then there are plenty of other sites out there, or even better...create your own. sometimes people act like this is the only site available and that there needs to be some epic struggle to give "power to the people".....there IS a life outside of dpc, quite an enjoyable one really
