My submission:

Outtakes:
I really liked this shot, but since I couldnt clone out the pole I didnt pick it. The pole really buged me

I also liked this one, but the head was blurry and I didnt know how the voters would have taken it.

This was the only other shot that I had that was worth anything. I just didn't like the fact the boat was going away.

Spent hours and hours out in the cold practising panning birds - suspect my time would have been better spent curled up in front of the fire with a cup of tea and the Sunday paper... :¬(

Didn't enter, because this probably would have been to lame

I didn't enter. If I had it would have been with something like these only more polished hopefully:

I chose not to enter since the images were too cluttered and my livingroom really doesn't make for the best background. In addition to panning being really really hard to do.

I tried for the abstract and chose possibly the wrong image. This has more interest with the shadowy catlike figure to the left. Or at least I think so.

the lights are LED xmas lights
they are flashing at 2x 60Hz
the camera was on one end of a rotating beam & the candle on the other ..
.. it thought it was neat .. but not the voters ...

Thanks! She's an absolutely fantastic cat. The fun never stops with her around and yes of course I'm hoping I'll get a good enough shot for the pet portrait challenge this time around :D
