Below are three pictures that I would like to print and display on my mantel. The color of the leaves match my decor and I have a tree fetish to boot. Anyway, I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to help me with editing/preparing them for print as my photoshop skills are lacking? The exposure is off on a couple of them and they need detail brought back into the darks and lights. Thank you so much.

11 X 14 Needs detail in the darks.

8 x 10 Needs detail in the lights and I don't like the tone of the yellow.

5 x 7

That actually looks much better. How do I go about doing this? I don't have lightroom. Thank you.

Hi Alicia,

Here's a rough edit:

To try and explain all that was done would take more time than I possibly could muster up here.
Many layers were used to slowly bring out the deeper shadow details as well as tones & levels. An initial skew was done to level out the waterline for better appearance, as well as some softening and warm filters applied. This edit is not the cleanest it could be, but seeing as it will need to be pushed fairly heavily, an original will be needed to get it done right, in the range of 4200 x 3300 pixels. (Note the inset, as the original won't crop to 11x14")
There was a lot of jpeg compression/pixelization in the sky and I'm sure with an original, it would be far better.
This will be the most challenging to get a clean print at 11x14" an dis kinda' why I picked it. If I can help, shake my tree. The original can be uploaded to your portfolio by the way, as it will give a link to the full sized one.

Once again, just a few adjustments in Lightroom, about 5 minutes work on Fill Light, Clarity, Vibrance and a touch of Saturation. Red hue adjusted towards darker red.

Hope it is okay?
