I saw many thread recently about how bad are the photo submitted into the conflict challenge... there are even some people here that don't want to continue voting. I was just wondering if the picture are so bad and many peopleare giving very low score when they voting. How are the results? My photo is getting 4.92 as of now wich is a really bad results, (much lower than what i expected) but reading about the comments in the forum i'm planning to give a ribbon winning speech soon with that 4.92... So how are yours??

If that is the case, I am in second with a 4.8! It will be nice to finally get a ribbon. I think the forums about the conflict challenge has hurt alot of the pictures in the challenge because they sway peoples votes in a way. That is a shame.

I'm right there with a 4.89...going for the blue ribbon with another 5 vote or so. :-)

| I am actually very happy with my scores right now. I have both challenges entered and am hovering between 6.5 and 6.6 on both. i have never even come close to that in 2 challenges at the same time. I am sure there are those out there lurking way above that tho. |

Hate to destroy your hopes of a ribbon, but my score is 5.6 :P
I honestly think that there are some great photos in this challenge.

Alright...which one of you was jealous of my 4.89 and gave me the "4" vote? Down to 4.88 after a vote. :-)

Am at my lowest as well 4.96, aiming for lower - I need 36 straight 1s to break the 3 barrier!!! (was never good at maths)

Yeah, I'm with you on this one! The one I decide not to do because of time.... lol
I wish I could've had my models ready! Oh well :)

Make sure you get good qualified models. One of my comments said my "actors" needed stunt doubles to do a better job. I could've sworn I entered a "photography" challenge. I suppose I could be mistaken. :-)

nicklevy, I see in your profile, that you also own the 828. I was just curious why you dont have that set as your main camera.

| I'm getting a 4.95 atm, which was making me pretty miserable until I realized that we're all getting killed. I'll be happy if I make it to the second or third page :-D |

I was so happy at the very begining. It was a delirious 5.9.
Then droped and dropped and dropped it again ...
I am depressed ...
I will never pass the infernal 6 GATE ...
What an inner conflict... 5.07 :(

I'm at a 4.4 something. But I was expecting a little more than that, but not much.
My picture is a little different that what I've seen on here. It is the type of photography I like, and that a lot of people don't, so I submitted it just to see what kinds of results I would get from it. I probably won't submit anything like it again though. |
