Respectable enough start. Couldn't really expect this entry to make me feel all warm, now could I?

Incidentally, the weather today is finally cold enough for the ground to be frozen, so in a few more days we should have lots of semi-frozen ponds and such to photograph. Perhaps I can find a clown willing to walk out on one and fall in!

I was hoping for a little better with this one... but it's still early.

50 vote check-in.
Still not thrilled with this score, hoping it follows the same pattern as my last entries....

I think what's bothering me most is that there are no comments...

no comments either & circling the drain. At least my entry is ICE and not SNOW ...there is a distinct difference.

Snow being made up of Ice crystals? This is the type of thing that drives me crazy...

I'm afraid I must have missed this in chemistry class. Wiki says this about snow, "Snow is a type of precipitation in the form of crystalline water ice, consisting of a multitude of snowflakes that fall from clouds. Since snow is composed of small ice particles, it is a granular material. It has an open and therefore soft structure, unless packed by external pressure."

How does snow not count when the description reads merely "Ice"? It's time to loosen up your DNMC criteria.

And, yes, my entry has both snow and ice, but I'm not worried about my entry at the moment, I'm just fighting against the narrow definition of the challenge.

Yes , I am taking it very specifically and I'm sticking with it. I have not read the definitions. I live with ice & snow 7 months of the year. Ice feels different & looks different. You fall on your keister with ice, not with snow. Narrow minded to be sure :)
