Photography & bicycles are my two biggest passions. Just wanted to hear what other people expierence while riding around on two wheels.
Personally, nothing takes the stress off a day while rippen down singletrack or riding out on the back roads.
Cheers,
JKH

Somehow I came upon the idea of taking pictures with an expensive D200 while riding a bicycle...

I went to Silver City, New Mexico for the Tour of the Gila, and this is the photo I entered in the Sports III challenge. It got hammered, but it's still one of my favorite challenge entries. |

I can't even look at a bicycle anymore without crying... was supposed to be a little photoshoot in the snow, but she lost control of the bike... and... sob sob sob...

Just a few bike shots. The Lake District is a great place for Mountain Biking. |

My winter commuter still needs a bit of love before I can do much riding. The bus has not been so bad...its warmer! Anyone else riding on studded tires for the winter?

I used to be well into it, but I had an accident and spent 3 days on a drip!
It been about 5 years now and I just got on a bike again - I got a really nice Scott Hybrid, I am well chuffed with it. |

I've been off the bike for a couple of years. I really need to get back on it, and it will give me opportunity to photograph some views I cannot get to by car. I ride a 2000 Bianchi Veloce.
My S5 is just too big to carry around in my Camelbak, though. So it will be my Coolpix L6 when riding, unless I get something else for the purpose. Any suggestions on a good subcompact for cycling?

I have some photos from my bicycle trips on the Rhein and Mosel rivers in Germany in '83. I'll scan some and share them here. Thanks for the idea. |
