Alot of times we feel we deserved a better score in a challenge, I would be interested to see what people feel is their MOST underrated shot. I'll start it off. I think I took a hit on this because I entered it in a free study:

A personal fav, but I knew it wouldn't have mass appeal:

One of my favourite entries of this year.

I'm not sure the 16:9 format helps either - given that it has to be so small to enter in DPC in that ratio but it was how it was shot & composed.

I really thought this picture turned out well. Me and Myself really like it and was slightly disappointed when it didn't even make it to a 5.

smardaz,

Bridges? Bridges got better point in technology challenge? I still can't forget that... my wife can't either. I was kind of sure that her picture would get the ribbon :(

(I don't want to side track this post, I think this is my most underrated, not necessarily lowest point photo)

The worst week of my DPC life...but if just ONE person would mark this a fav, I would feel vindicated...(or better yet, if that Whiterook would just self-DQ...I'm still waiting for my Crown of Brown!!!!!!!!!!...::::)

I was so happy to capture this moment. It wasn't staged at all. It was a true candid. He had a kind of "huh?" look. Maybe not interesting enough? Maybe a candid should not have eye contact with viewer? :) Oh well...

What got me was the challenge was "Sea (not land)", but I got yelled at for not having a land mass in the shot. Sheesh.

The only shot where I felt it was underrated because it is not DPC friendly. I am happy that I composed this.

Easy for me to pick it out, because I generally agree with the scores I get. But this one ... I still don't understand it not even breaking 6.

I only have a handful of shots in the last couple of years I really like, this one is one of them.

Ah. The problem's the aspect ratio - I used a widescreen ratio camera, so it ends up comparatively small when you fix the wide side to 640, it ends up smaller than an average frame.

Other than a resize though, that's the original shot, it looks like that, but bigger ;)

Sure thing. Email me your password, and I'll make it appear magically in your profile.
