how can i compete with a spring picture with that of a winter picture, i went outside to take some pictures for macro challenge, what do i see snow and more snow now how about the great spring picture posted 2 days ago of a spider eating a fly for dinner on a beautful flower, for some reason just living in the snow belt state verses down spring states does have it's advantages, I hope one day there's a snow challenge and I hope you spring states (almost all year round) eat your hearts out when i send my snow picture in..!!!!

Every state has its own beauty. I am envious of the lovely ice covered bush picture but the trees and flowers have already started blooming here. You take advantage of the beauty that is outside you door. Maybe you will be happier with the present challenge. There is nothing blooming yet in the color red so I had to use my imagination to come up with something appropriate. Good luck and I hope you win a snow challenge. I certainly won't be able to.

there's plenty of things to take pictures of in the snow, for instance, your nickname comes to mind :o)

Hey, don't forget that the 'net is global. When you have winter,
half the planet is having summer. Remember the larger picture! :)

Damn I bet there were no icecicles, animal tracks, snow encrusted fences, dormant tree branches, frozen street signs, or other nonsnow things falling in front of your lens. But what a wonderful chance to expand your mind and experience not just see.
