I was looking at this image from the Rainbow challenge, and noticed that in the reflection, the direction of colours is inverted compared to the rainbow itself (red is closest to the ground, rather than farthest away). Is this typical of rainbows, or is this simply proof that the reflection was added (and therefore the image disqualified)?

I'm not even sure the rainbow in the sky is real. I've never seen one with that width before or going at that angle across the sky.

What about the rest of the photo? The line of trees and the snow mountains behind. Don't think that's a strange juxtaposition?

Just didn't think snow-capped mountains could be so abruptly foregrounded by so neat a row of trees clearly enjoying lower elevation temperatures. Maybe if the mountains were higher. I could be mistaken, I've never been to New Zealand.

Looks fake to me too, or else that is one large rainbow!

The ripples in the water look suspicious too.

The rainbow was added, but the rest of the photo is true to the submitted original.

The only question I have about rainbows, is why are there so many songs about them? :o)
