I think it would be great if we all had one place where we could come to find different texture resources. How about we all post all the textures we know of here ;)

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE ( AND ANY OTHERS WHO MAY FOLLOW SUIT ) HAVE GIVEN PERMISSION ONLY FOR THEIR TEXTURE PHOTOS TO BE USED NOT ANY OTHER PHOTO IN THEIR PORTFOLIO

Best place to start is goodman she has some textures here

Melethia has some here

suemack has some here

I have added some today here

Please let me know if I have misunderstood any intention for public use from the above people and I will remove links.

You can also find some here at this site and at this site.

Thats all I can remeber for now. Plaease if you have any good resources to share let everyone know here ;)

If you have any texture photos to post you can put them here or maybe here or even possibly here

I think sherpet has proposed a textures side challenge for November too. WOO HOO.

This site has some great textures though even though it says you can right click I cant and I am having trouble downloading the zip files! If anyone has any luck please let me know hwt i am doing wrong!

GRRR cant even do a link! Maybe its something to do with my puter

Check the "Automatically Parse URLs" box below your post.

Great thread btw - I've bookmarked many of the resources and now me wants to go shoot me own textures as well. If/when I do, I'll post 'em here. If you know me, they'll probly be all frilly and flowery. ;-)

Use if you like, but I don't know if I made the resolution sufficient enough for it to be true useable, so if anyone has problems let me know.

this is an excellent thread ..
since our slice of life with everyone doing the most brilliant texture work i've got interested in doing more myself .. i've got stacks of my own photographs that i've taken especially for textures but i'd also been meaning to check some out on the web as well ... but i just hadnt got around to it yet .. this comes at exactly the right time ..

Just wanted to add that these are minimal editing (Levels & crop) so that they can be edited further by whoever wants to use them.

The DOF is not the best, I was loosing light laying in the grass with ants all over me and trying to shoot hand held :).

If these are too yellow for you just lower the yellow in the sat.
