I have put some of the panoramas I have taken into my portfolio. I would love any feedback or comments. Thanks!

Oh yeah, they are in my DPC Portfolio.

Wonderful panorama's! Lovely tone, texture, detail, composition, the whole nine yards! My only dislike is the watermark you've used, I find watermarks, and copyrights to be REALLY tacky, but the images themselves are superb. How did you do them?

Nice shots. Did you stitch them or compose them in your camera?

These were taken with an older digital camera, a Kodak DS290, and then they were stitched together. The 290 was a 2.1 MP camera and that made in camera composition difficult, especially once I started trying to print them. The resolution after stitching was much more printable, but then I had the stitching artifacts to deal with.

These are some of the best I had taken with that camera and put together.

I have been experimenting with my new F828 and I am able to do some in camera. This one below was done in camera and then cropped but I still find that I run into resolution limitations and end up having to resample. The one below was taken at the 5MP resolution and then cropped but no resampling was done. Instead I played with the border to get the final image size where I wanted it.

Thanks Lee.

Yeah, I had a hard time deciding whether or not to put a watermark on the images. And I tend to agree with you. I am not particularly happy with these but they are the same ones I have used for some time. I really need to work on creating a better one that is more sutle and not as distracting.

I started putting them on when c company bought one of my images for the cover of its Annual Report. They insisted that I put a "Signature" on the image. Ever since then I have used it on any images that I make available for print. These images were already setup for printing, though I had to work them a little to meet the dimension requirements for DPCPrints.

I love the photo of Timp, looks like it has a lot of snow on it this year. I grew up in Orem and I had a similar view right out my front window so I guess it makes me a bit homesick.

Your panoramas are great too and I know that the small size just can’t do them justice. I would love to see the full sized versions.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Yeah we got much more this year than in years past. I have been trying to take advantage of it. It has become my personal challange to try and take beautiful pictures of Timp.

Thanks for your other comments. I keep trying.
