I took this candid shot of my 2 year old son, and used Photoshop to add to the devious looking expression. He had yogurt all over his face, which is why he looks so messy. I thought it turned out pretty well for a candid shot...any opinions?

A very nice candid of this good looking little boy. When he is 13, he will hate for you to show it. When he is 40 he will want it framed and on his wall.

Great shot.

I have a similar shot of my son eating chocolate pudding at the same age. He's now 14 and weighs as much as me. It's been one of my favorite pics to come back to over the years.

I think you did an excellent job in getting that "Angel-Devil" look to this portrait! Really nicely done!

Of course, were this to have been in a challenge, I think that the voters would have nit-picked on the possible "over-exposure" on the top of his head and face and perhaps, an overshadowing on the lower portion of his face and hands etc.. However, I find that "works of art" such as this one, have extra meaning and I think that even though voters would likely pick this apart unfairly for the "technical aspects" (including the frame...I've had one of mine torn to shreds because of it *grin*), I have to say that it's a really captivating piece! I really and truly like it!

Hope you've printed this one out and framed it!!!! I'm sure it'll be one that you'll cherish forever and him as well!!!

Please tell me you are or have framed this one! *smile*

Edited to add:

BTW.....I think the framing works beautifully with this piece! It matches the entire mood you're trying to convey!

Thank you all so much! PhotoInterest...I totally agree about the nit picking, but I think in the field of photography there are just so many different tastes and interests, that you're bound to have that from at least a few people no matter what. I do kind of agree about the over-exposure, and noticed that right away, but the more I've looked at it the more I think it may add to the shot in a way. I think subconsciously the dark shadows and over-exposure adds to the good vs. evil sort of thing, going on in the photo. Then again who knows...maybe I just need to except the fact that I got the exposure off...lol! I will most definitely be framing this one very soon! Thanks again!
