I hoped to see better ones in the first 20 photos, at least.
What do you think?

I agree, quite suprised these didn't do better:

I´m agree... furthermore, I hoped to see my pov picture in a better place, because my average was a good average, I think.

But, this is the result of our votes, so don´t problem. Furthermore, I get in this challenge my second best average with 6.303, so I´m very glad with my picture, and I think this is the most important.

I really liked the rose and feet one too! This one also should have done much better!

Thanks for the support, Jon! It was my first submission here so I suppose there's a looong way to go with the future challenges. I am already hooked. Let's see what happens with NG. No animals this time :)

Mine did OK.... I think some of the problem, is that we can't explain why we chose a picture we did. My picture was...
I picked this one, because it showed how I viewed the laundromat... It seems longer than it is. My view is distorted because of how much wash I have.... I no it's dumb, but it's my POV.

Now.... I know I am being killed with NG and Roadsigns. Oh well! Maybe I can do better on the PWL!?!?

Thanks for this thread - my disappointment has been turned around by all the comments on the "rose and the feet". Your words are actually better than a higher place finish.

Ditto the disappointment on the other pics mentioned. I think the top ones, for the most part, are the right ones. With so many entries, perhaps the top 20 is like the top 10 of a smaller competition?

These two were my top pics. I thought they were really fabulous.

jonpink this is my POV photo that I wanted you to look at. My average was pretty good but I still fell into 96th place. My goal was to finish in the top 100! But I still thought I would finish higher. All comments are welcome, good or bad!

I was pleased with my 26th place in this challenge and thank you all for your encouraging comments and generous scores. This was my highest rated photo and the first one to be ranked within the top 10%. I thought there were alot of really creative photos in this challenge and most did a fine job in capturing point of view.

i was hoping too that my blk/wht mask would place a litle higher. i seem to vote high on the more artistic than literal photos.
