For the last year I have been working on a major project for the council. The council bulldozed all the council buildings and built a multi-million dollar building which also incorporated the new Art Gallery.

Every week (sometimes twice a week) I would go onto the site and document the progress of this construction. Some shoots were 2-00 or 3-00 in the morning, just depending on the what was being done at the time.

The images were all stored online in a locked gallery for the council to access and some were printed and framed throughout the progress. But only select ones as they were keeping them for today.

Today...the very first exhibition of the new Art Gallery was opened in the new building and the doors were opened to the public with tours being taken through the building complex.

And that very first exhibition was mine, showing the project over the last year. This has been a massive job, involving laying out and organising of 1000's of images. We scaled it down to 35 frames, being a combination of both single and multiple images in those frames. These were then put together and I had 3 workers all day yesterday to set up the Art Gallery, bring in glass cabinets, after which I raided the mayors office for memorabilia and hung some of the paintings the public has never seen, but have been hidden in the offices for years.

Everyone was surprised with the final result, even the Mayor who was so happy to see some of the memoribilia from our sister city in Canada, Altona, be finally put on display.

So anyways...I am very tired and have to go again very shortly but I thought I would show history in the making through a few snapshots from this morning.

I have also included a quick shot of a massive image that I put together for this job, under the instruction of the council. It is 4.05 meters (13.28 feet) x 0.80 meters (2.62 feet) This image was 49 images combined to produce a 360degree view of the town. This image was taken from the top of the 35 meter water tower.

Enjoy.

TOTALLY AWESOME, and only wish I could have been there to see it and to be able to CONGRATULATE you personally.

I am just so very proud of you Judi, and you so deserve this wonderful honor, as your photography, and you, are a true professional.

Holy Crap!

What do you do in your spare time, or rather do you know the meaning of spare time?
Turn around, see those big kids in your house? They are yours. Yes, they've grown since you saw them last. Now go out and have a picnic or something. Turn the phones off, take a point & shoot and leave the gear at home.

Congrats. You certainly are making a mark in this world.
