Are you ready for some football? American, Fantasy, that is?
I am going to run one league again this year. It will be a Yahoo League - Free - and open to only 12 players (11 others plus myself). The format will be head-to-head, with playoffs and superbowl to happen weeks 14-16 of the regular season. It's a blast, but before you sign on, read the following:
1) Don't play unless you're serious. There's nothing more frustrating than having other players drop out during the season.
2) We will use an automated draft, not a live, on-line draft. (if you're not sure what that means, see #1). Trying to orchestrate a live draft is more trouble than it's worth (to me).
3) I'll have Yahoo draft our teams about 1 week before the first regular season game. After joining, you can give player preferences and draft recommendations online.

yes it does - but you have to pay 5 bucks for it...

| I use Yahoo to manage my other league and want to keep it consistent (for my own comfort). I've tried a few other online sites and have always come back to Yahoo. |

Real Man's Fantasy has an $89 fee to run the league. Granted, that's not much when you spread it out over 12 players, but I don't want to have to collect cash from people on a DPC league. I just want to do it for fun, and have people be able to join without paying anything. The nice thing about Yahoo is that you can buy the real-time package for a small fee - if you want it. Nobody is obligated to pay anything to join this league.

Would you believe it? I am the 'official photographer' of my fantasy football team. I get in to all the games free, mix with the whole team staff including President and GM. But the players seem a little distant.
