I will apologize upfront for not looking at the boards at the zoo. :)
Does anybody have any odea what birds these are. These are form Milwaukee zoo if that helps anyway.

EDIT--Updated the 1st one too.
 -- Spangled Cotinga (Cotinga cayana)
 -- Blue Crowned Motmot, (Momotus momota)
 -- Boat-billed heron, (Cochlearius cochlearius)
 -- Green Aracari, (Pteroglossus viridis)
 -- Victoria Crowned Pigeon, (Goura victoria)
 -- Golden-breasted Starling, (Cosmopsarus regius)

1. a tanager of some sort
2. a Motmot of some sort
3. a Shoebill
4. a Toucan of some sort
5 a Crowned pigeon (African?)
6. a African Starling of some sort |

As I already said these are from Milwaukee zoo, so I dont have any clue about their originating continent. The zoo itself is at WI, USA..but it is a pretty big one and have animals and birds from all over the world.
I know, I shoud have checked at the Zoo itself which I did not do because I had so little time at hand and I had to cover a lot of ground and thought to myself .... DPC is there to help me later:).

how about a boat-billed heron for #3?

think  vtruan is right about #2 being a motmot of some sort - possibly a Highland Motmot?
btw, you could email someone at the zoo with these pictures - preferably the aviary department - and they might be obliging enough to let you know what you took pictures of. |

| Thanks guys for all the replies..I am researching on WIKI, Google , the hints here (most of them are accurate )and the Bird list I got from Milwaukee zoo website...Will update soon with what I find. |

I'm no expert, but...
1. A black and blue bird.
2. A green and yellow bird.
3. A large beaked fat tan bird.
4. A large beaked fat yellow and black bird.
5. A fat drag queen bird.
6. A shiny multi-colored bird after too much coffee.
