As I already said these are from Milwaukee zoo, so I dont have any clue about their originating continent. The zoo itself is at WI, USA..but it is a pretty big one and have animals and birds from all over the world.

I know, I shoud have checked at the Zoo itself which I did not do because I had so little time at hand and I had to cover a lot of ground and thought to myself .... DPC is there to help me later:).

3 isn't a shoebill, although it appears to be related...

think vtruan is right about #2 being a motmot of some sort - possibly a Highland Motmot?

btw, you could email someone at the zoo with these pictures - preferably the aviary department - and they might be obliging enough to let you know what you took pictures of.

I'm no expert, but...

1. A black and blue bird.
2. A green and yellow bird.
3. A large beaked fat tan bird.
4. A large beaked fat yellow and black bird.
5. A fat drag queen bird.
6. A shiny multi-colored bird after too much coffee.
