So I had to choose between the image I submitted:
and another that was also interesting:
Did I choose the correct one?

| I would have rated your other one lower than the one you submitted. The one you chose was best, IMO |

Going by the title you selected "Opposite Reaction" I would have rated the second one higher. In addition if the two swings in the second one were blurred I would have rated the second one even higher.
Hope this makes sense and I really do like your idea and the work you did.

I like the second one a lot more. The depth and repetition really add to it whereas the repetition in the first one isn't nearly as apparent. I also like the symmetry. It makes it more interesting IMO. The seats also stand out a lot better against the light background and don't get all jumbled up. The first one is ho-hum to me, but I really thing the second one is very nice.. much more artsy.

I'm with indi on this one. I would have scored the second higher for the same reasons she said :)

The first one.
I like the tension between blur and crisp. It replaces the pleasant symmetry of the second one with energy. Preferring charge to nicety, your choice would have been mine.

I prefer the first on, because it interestingly breaks the symmetry and it stronger depicts the combination of stillness and motion. The lower angle of view is also better IMO.

I like both of them. For the challenge, you made the right choice. It's the contrasting element of motion and stillness that made the photo. The motion blur is well captured.

| I think the second one fits with the title better. I remember reading that and wondering what it was opposite to. I like the shot you chose better of the two though. |

both are great shots but the one you submitted is better, IMO. It was definitely one of my faves & I was thinking it would win a ribbon. Love the symmetry in the first shot. Your fotography is really fantastic. Great creative vision! Just added you to my faves.

I'd have given both the same high score, but if I had to pick I'd have gone with the one you submitted.
