If you step outside the box and look from the outside in at the whole mypace thing you realize that everybody on there posts stuff that they would not in a million years do in front of another human being. You just sort of begin to laugh because of how serious they take it and say "wow we are all losers and weirdos"...lol

In ten years it will be like 80's music, everybody will distance themselves by saying "I never was on myspace", "only losers and geeks were on myspace." I can't stop laughing thinking about the whole thing. It is very philosophical really.

I have a myspace account, and I use it regularly to stay in touch with friends and family all over the world. Just about 30 minutes ago I got a message from my cousin about plans for us to go somewhere tomorrow withmy oldest sister. I don't post anything weird or crazy, mostly because I don't do anything weird or crazy to begin with. I'm rather boring...but a loser, geek, or weirdo I very well may be.

BTW...What was wrong with 80s music?

His Fascination with Joey Lawrence's Grunge editing points to his love of 90's Grunge lol.

ohhh, don't talk bad about 80's music. Some of the best songs, music, lyrics, rifts, are from the mid 70's to the late 80's. :)

80's music is by far the best music ever. Period. No other music makes you feel as happy as 80's music. No mood, no angst just pure happy :)

well i don't know about myspace goin the way of disco and new wave but i must say i don't "get" it....Seems like every time i turn around one of my nieces or my younger friends is emailing me with some invite to join their list du jour so i can be kept up to date with everything they think is noteworthy in their life...frankly i find it annoying, i don't understand why all of a sudden we need these services to keep in touch with family and friends, seems kinda impersonal really, like sending out a form letter to everyone

Awesome.

Myspace still sucks.

Same goes for a lot of online activity, including stuff that goes on here. There's no way on earth some people would behave the same in real life, in front of live people, the way they do in e-mail, in forums, in IRC, etc.

Myspace is the big hair of this generation.

Jason, I get 90% of my models and probably 50% or better of my paid work from myspace :-)

I am on there. I use it. I just laugh at people because they think they are "cool" when in fact they are being ridiculous and stupid. Myspacers think they are cool the same way these two thought they were cool.

Best part is, I am making fun of myself because I looked just like them at that age, long hair and all. We were doofs, and so are the myspacers. It is just funny having a diffrent perspective having already made a fool out of myself when I was younger.

I could use some glitter on mine. I also am thinking of changing my profile pick to something from the top down so you can see my cleavage.
