Compress the drive?

It will make access a little slower but will give you more space.

you could try archiving your photos to CD or DVD to gain you a little more room. Or as already mentioned you could try compressing the drive but it will slow your access time...

If your getting low on memory errors, you could delete everythign but windows it self and still have issues.

1 - Memory = Ram not hard drive space.

2 On the contrary not enough free space can also cause it because when ram runs out virtual ram uses hard drive space.

I am so confused..

Eh.. I can't get my photos onto my computer to put them onto a CD or DVD and that's the only way I know how to do it.. I don't want anything to be any slower than it already is. I really wish my dad would get it wiped.. Since I already gave him a hundred dollars to do so.. ._.

I guess I just won't have pictures for a while.

What happens that makes you say "low on memory"? That is, what are the specific messages the computer gives you, and what (very specifically) are you doing when it does?

Get the money back from Dad and use it to buy a portable harddrive.

I've been using a P&S camera lately. I flip open a little hacth thingy on my camera and stick the USB in there. Then a window pops up that says "What would you like to do with your images/videos?" The list normally says something like "Save to folder, view using windows somethingsomething, take no action, etc." But now, it says "Your computer is low on memory. Please select an option from the following list concerning your images/videos." and it just says "View using windows somethingsomething, take no action."

x_o It's a real headache..

And I tried getting the money back from him so I could take it in to my friend Carrol, and he said he didn't have it anymore. ._.

put all your photos onto dvds or cds (dvds are better because they hold more) then buy a 100-200 gb external harddrive and back them up on there. Then when your originals are backed up in two places you can delete them off your computer

First off, take a deep breath.

Are you on a PC or mac. Do you know how to see how much free space is available on your hard drive?

open My Computer. right click on the C drive and select properties. I think that should give you a pie chart of disk space you have vs free space available.
