Figured no one knew what a nutria was, and that no one knew they had incredibly bright orange teeth.

Nutria is what they feed the alligators at the alligator farm attraction in St. Augustine, Florida. They get them from the swamps in Louisiana.

Yup, they're not a well liked animal here in Oregon. They feed on the wetlands, but they're cute when they're babies in my yard! I sat with them for a few days and they started to trust me more. It was a cool experience, but I've stopped before they start really liking me and following me up my steps, heh. |
