Darn! I wish I could join you folks but I finished my project in Chicago a few weeks ago and I am no longer traveling there on a weekly basis.

It was so much fun last year, and it looks like it will be very nice weather again this year. Unfortunately, I've committed to doing a photo session in the morning, so that "shoots" my whole day. Have lots of fun!!!-Wendy

I had a great time last year. I wish I could come, I have a driving lesson all morning and them am going to spend the afternoon doing homework.

Maya, thanks for the PM.

Not only am I strongly considering coming down, I'm considering driving down Friday night and staying somewhere downtown so I can be out at the planetarium campus to shoot the city at sunrise. Still toying with this idea and watching the forecast.

Can anybody fit "cheap accommodations with parking" and "downtown" into the same sentence??

I have just arrived back to Chicago after a long journey. Weather is awesome, so hope it is like this on Saturday. I'm really looking forward to it.

Looking forward to tomorrow. I tweaked my right shoulder, but if I use my camera bracket I can hold my camera easier in my left hand. Woo!

I am 98% planning to come. I'm driving down tonight and getting up for sunrise shoot at the Adler Planetarium tomorrow morning. I'm planning to arrive at Adler at about 4:45 pm and want to shoot the city skyline as it catches the sun's first light.

Anyone want to join me?? I'll especially need someone to eat breakfast with after the shoot, and then will need instructions to join up with the rest.

Not sure I'll make sunrise (4.45 am?), but happy to join you for breakfast a bit later. Mind you, if my jet lag continues, maybe I will make sunrise!

Oops, yes, make that AM, not pm. Meyer, I'm going to park at the end of the museum peninsula right next to the Adler, and shoot from the north side facing downtown. I may walk up and down between Adler and the Shedd to look for good locations. PM'ing you my cell number. I'll be out of computer reach after 5:30 pm tonight, so cell is the way to reach me.

I have 2 hours of drive coming from south. I can't make for sunrise. Do we still meet at Art institue at 9:00? I can make at Alder around 8:00 a.m., if we want to begin from there.

I think the rest of the group is meeting there at 9am. Not sure when the unofficial GTG breakfast will be.
