it's been a while... the weather is getting nicer... was thinking a gtg is up for order.

who would be into a toronto-area shoot maybe later this month or early june? i need to learn some shooting secrets from the local stars :-)

the last time we tried this we settled on kensington market i believe.. .i'm still good with that. or wherever the concensus takes us.

cheers, jeff

I could stand to learn from being among other photographers. I would be coming up there from Buffalo area. Would consider an overnight, if I can find something reasonable (maybe locals there can refer me?). I would bring another member with me - who hasn't been too active.

You can look into Neil-Wycik..its part of Ryerson University but they rent room in the off school season, very very cheap.
And it is right downtown, easy access to everywhere

I'd be interested, but I'll possibly have a lot of exciting stuff happening at work this summer which will be keeping me busy and possibly out of the country. I'll have to play it by ear.

I may be into this too, but my schedule tends to be a bit weird. I'll know closer to any settled dates.

I already suggested it - but didn't seem like anyone was interested.
I'm open to the Zoo, or any other family (young children) friendly venue that is not expensive.

Toronto Zoo - admission for adults is $19, parking is $8/vehicle. Not sure what the rate is for kids (I think it's $11).

I'll put this on my watched threads list... I may be interested if I can convince my wife I really need to go on another 4 1/2 hour GTG trip :) Hopefully the date will work out -- I'd enjoy heading up there again.

You should all try the Distillery District. Great architecture there.

If you click the Festivals & Events link in the top left corner of their web site, there's some cool photo-worthy events happening this year.

Toronto also has some beautiful skyscraper architecture in the downtown core that is fun to photograph at night. I especially had fun inside the BCE building.
