Great read. Btw, there is an incorrect link in the interview. When Cindi talks about Jaded Youth's shot "The looking glass" the link to it takes me to Cindi's photo "The Midas Touch" instead. Just FYI.

Thanks so much for the interview, John. It was fun and I appreciate the time you put into it.

Now I'm going to take my daughters to dinner and when the waiter brings the check I'm going to give him my autograph. ;)

Whoa, she really is that happy. Great interview of an excellent photographer and a real contributing member of DPC.

Thanks.

Edit: someday I'll figure out spell check.

An error! What? Who coded this thing anyway?

(thanks for the quick fix Langdon!)

Wow! I could faint...**Swooon**.. lol. That was a great interview even if I wasn't mentioned a couple times I'd still love it! ;) very insightful. and as someone who hasn't shot in a motnh or more and was just about to box up her studio equiptment for a year or more because the new place we're moving to doesnt have indoor space for it, it makes me want to reconcider. I'm thankful I've impressed anyone and maybe I shouldn't give up so easily. Where there's a will there has to be a way. right?

Great interview Cindi!

Hmmm, no hard-hitting questions about sending your daughters out in the middle of the night for Haagen-Dazs that night they broke down and the police never came (I have sources) - typical liberal media puff piece. ;-)

Just razzin. It was good. I was on the edge of my seat (mighta been hemmorhoids though).

Great job to both of you!

I'm saving those questions for my upcoming interview with the Florida State Police Captain who has doughnut powder on his black pressed pants. For Cindi, I just wanted her to like me.

Dammit Ken, you weren't supposed to say anything about the ice cream run, I'm not sharing with you any more! ;)

Thought I'd add to the interview a few favorite idnicisms:

Clunker: That occasional horrible shot that you were so sure would score well.
Dead fish: A shot that starts at 6.0 and stays at 6.0 all week with no real movement.
MCBS: Meets Challenge But Sucks. Okay, I haven't actually used it in a challenge yet because I'd hate to hurt a new shooter's feelings.
A Heavy Thread: One that falls to the bottom of the front page in seconds no matter how may times its bumped.

There are probably others but none that come to mind this minute. Those to whom I chat often will likely bust me on some regular ones. :)

Edit to add: idnicians: That's the imaginary army of men I've always wanted.... *sigh*

They have a bunch at NASA. Seems like everytime they launch a spacecraft, you hear, "Houston, we have idnicians!"

Cindi-

What an awesome honorable mention you paid me. You don't know how good that made me feel. Wow. Thank you so much.
