I just bought a new Nikon D80. I am so excited. I love my fuji s9000, but I am doing indoor shots for a charity and they are not great. I love my new Nikon but have alot to learn. Anyway just excited.

First of all why are you leaving. Next, is there anyway to change ISO without going into the menu. I see the ISO button beside the veiwfinder but when I press it, it does nothing.
Thanks Jeremy |

press and hold ISO - use the dial on the back to change (d70 anyway).
Most of the buttons work that way - I don't tend to read manuals when I get new toys either ;P

I am leaving cuz I hardly use DPC anymore..Your ISO should change when you press that button. Look on your top panel while making the change and you will see it fluctuate. THe dial needs to be pressed with the ISO button, I almost forgot to say that...

I figured the iso out, but my next question is that when I set my camera to raw + jpeg fine the camera is not taking both, just the jpeg. Is there something else I need to change or am I missing something. Thanks for any help.

Your camera is probably taking both, What software are you using to view the raw files?
Or a easier question, What program are you using to upload from the camera? Try using the Nikon Picture Project Program that came with the camera if you haven't done so already. It will let you know for certain if your camera is capturing in both formats or not.
