Hey.. can anybody put up a short toturial how to make a good B&W..

i dont want to just desaturate.. but to add a little bit of color...

its for portrait..

here are the photoes im talking about.. i dont like what i did with the b&w.. something is missing.. i just deasurate and levels..

Scalvert had a real nice detail posted in a recent thread about converting to BW. I'll search for it.

Eta:
Even if you are adding some color back in, i think his workflow would be helpful.
